Please accept this letter as formal notification of our intent to withdraw the current conceptual plan for the Jacoby Ridge Planned Unit Development. We are very aware of the aquifer issues and feel that at this time it would not be prudent to proceed with the development as proposed.

While we believe the existing Aquifer Protection Plan and corresponding City of Laramie Ordinance does a terrific job of balancing legitimate concerns of aquifer contamination with private property rights, we feel that at this time this issue has been corrupted by a small anti-development group, who are using this issue in order to dramatically and negatively impact all future development in the City of Laramie.

Going forward it is our intent to re-locate the entire Jacoby Ridge Development outside the aquifer zones. Accordingly, we are in the process of finalizing this new preliminary development plan, which does just that, and we look forward to re-submitting this plan to the city.
